What the client needed
The agency laser marks cylinders with serial numbers and QR codes. It wanted to know where every cylinder was at any moment, which customer had it and when it came back.
Cylinders move constantly between the agency, customers and refilling, and paper records made it hard to answer simple questions such as where a particular cylinder was or which customer still held one.

How we solved it
We followed a cylinder from marking to return and built a screen for each step, so the team records movements as they happen.
The system mirrors the real journey of a cylinder. Batches and serial rules come first, then each dispatch and return is recorded against a customer, so the history of every cylinder builds up automatically as the team works.
The outcome
Every marked cylinder can be traced from batch to customer and back, with clear numbers on stock, dispatch and returns.
The agency can look up any cylinder in seconds, see stock by type and follow up returns with confidence. The overview screen gives the owner a clear daily picture of the business.
